Babies and grateful hearts

Today marked the 3rd day in a row that my littlest slept in very late. This past weekend my husband and father assembled a brand new swing set given to us by my BF in Montana. This is an unmeasurable gift that has proven priceless in the past few days it has been up. The big kids have been fun to watch from my deck, and the baby has been outside more than ever in her little life. She has been swinging, walking in, over, and under her little tike playset positioned next to the big one. In the pic, it doesn't quite look level, but it is hmmm. Anyway, in return for the new outside freedom she has slept in till 11am Monday, 8:30 when I woke her yesterday and 9am today.

As I sit here finishing my lunch with baby the big kids have finished making paper airplanes and are sitting (the girl in dress-up dresses of course) in the living room singing songs from JUMP (way cooler than a traditional VBS but church summer camp thing). I am suddenly very thankful for all that I have. God for giving me this amazing family and home. He gives me the strength to handle all that is tossed my way. I know that through him all things are possible, and I will prosper.

I am thankful for my dear friend who has been a blessing and a godsend for me in the last years, my wonderful husband though never perfect willing to overlook my imperfections and grow with me, my family who are always happy to attend, visit, purchase things for no reason simply make me, allowing me to stay home while he works 2 jobs. My kids feel special, loved, and important at any given time.

I am thankful for my parents who live next door and who are a HUGE blessing and lesser times a frustration all wrapped together. I am pretty sure they would say the same of my family and me. Regardless of the frustrations they have been available and helpful whether it be allowing me to run errands, or keep a child or two so wherever I am going I can devote my full attention, picking up from school, picking up something when they are out, babysit while I finished my Master's degree, and on and on. I wouldn't want to change the situation if I could.
Lastly, my FIL for all the fresh produce in the summer, and all the times he babysit before the baby was born. I am sure there are more, and others I have not mentioned. It would take an entire blog for that.
You get the point. I guess I just can't say thank you enough..........
