Piglet strikes again...

Lately dinner has become a major source of tension in my home. Many of you may know I HATE to cook as it stands so any additional frustration pulls at my temptation to not cook at all.
The girls are pretty good about trying foods, eating salad and not complaining too much. The boys on the other hand have really gotten ridiculious. They would not try sloppy joe's, pulled beef which was AMAZING. G even had several helpings, or pork chops, even cheeseburger pasta (mac and cheese with beef). I have always felt that you must eat a few bites of everything and then if you are full or truly not hungry than fine. Fruit or vegetable is available anytime. But when I watch #1 eat 9 pieces of pizza, an adult meal at any fast food joint, or even restuarant I realized that he is playing the system.
He has gotten a little better, except for gagging on sweet potatoes which he later was shocked to find out they were a potato and said if he has know that he would have ate them, What??? He does not complain or argue just eats once under duress. #3 on the other hand can gag and throw up when needed ( I don't recall ever doing that;). He is tiresome in debating the amount required, and tummy hurting, not hungry and on and on. Tonight just to be spiteful I had homemade pizza on the menu but hated for them to get off easy so I required each to eat one blackberry. They did it with a little coaxing, #2 ate an entire bowl, and #4 did spit it out.
# 4 has a nickname with a couple of her Aunts as Piglet. I guess that is ok because the Winnie the Pooh character is petite and skinny. But she never stops eating. If you walk near the snack closet she comes running calling snack, or as she says is nack. If anyone in the house is eating so must she. During dinner and since she has eaten 3 pieces of pizza, a pureed fruit cup (no sugar added at least), a bowl of grapes, half a hot dog, some cereal with her siblings, an oreo, and 1 blackberry. I guess this evens out # 3's need to drink 500 ounces of fluid a day, Ha.
Speaking of #4 she can say all done now, and she says night night ___ when someone leaves instead of bye bye. She has taken to picking her nose a time or two, yuck not that habit to break, finally calls Carson C instead of Bubba like she calls #3, what?, Hi or hello when she is holding the phone, poooop when she goes in the potty, she can point to her ears and say ears as well as teeth, she can point to mouth, eyes, hair, head, arm, neck and even attempt neck. If someone leaves the garage door open she will head out and over to G-ma and G's. The only color she says is Yellow although she doesn't really know which is which. She learned that while at lunch with Aunt D and G. Of all the words to repeat that is the one she picked. It sounds like the typical lellow.
Today for the first time she actually sat on her horse that hooks to the tv, bounced on it and watched the tv. Besides the Baby Einstein movies she really hasn't been interested in tv so it is a relief. I would hate to miss out on enjoying classic movies with her in upcomin years.
Lastly, my fav new thing is saying yes or no appropriately when asked a question. It sounds really sweet.
