Updated kids conversations

Annabeth says to Evangelene as she looks at a 'note' that E wrote. "I don't know what this says, but here I will write something in YOUR language." To which Daddy asked What IS her language?

The morning before Annabeth went on a field trip to the conservation dept farm, for 4th grade, I asked her what she thought they were going to do there? Her reply, "They are gonna kill a pig, take its heart out for us to see and then we get to eat pork for lunch. YUM!" THAT is surely my husband's child!!

Evangelene and Annabeth's cheer competition got moved because of rainy weather. It was supposed to be Sat at Six Flags but now its Sunday. When I broke the news to littlest she of course cried. Then she said, "Why can't we build something for it. We can build an ark to keep the rain away."

Last weekend while taking a walk in the woods with the 3 oldest children it was nothing short of CRAZY. As we headed deeper in I cannot recall which boy (I think Michael) picked up a stick and pretended it was gun to the point of ducking on the ground in the leaves to shoot at Daddy. Annabeth readily joined in and soon everyone but me were shooting each other, making noises of guns/rockets/injuries. Of course Annabeth then asks WHY there were no animals to be seen? Hmmmm I wonder???
