Day 2 continued

I think I had too many pictures for them all to upload in one post. But without them the story is much less interesting.
After the tea cups we all went and rode the Lilo and Stitch. #1 really wanted to do it and littlest was about 1/3rd of an inch to small. Daddy liked it least for sure. While they were in there #4 and I went to what ended up being a family fav, The Laugh Floor. It was basically like a comedy show with Mike Wazowski or however you spell that as the MC. His part was prerecorded and always the same but the other bits changed based on the audience each time. I think we went two times this day and 2 more our last day too. The one time they used Joey's picture and had the words "wonders just where he is at," under him.

Our first sit down meal was a character one at the Magical Kingdom. It was a late lunch and we were HUNGRY! As promised the chef came to our table as the other kids had gotten their food and were eating it but he did come. #4 and I were waiting together food less. He was kind and offered to make her a special brownie that was in fact egg, soy and everything free. That in itself sounded exciting. The sad part is he simply verbalized what she could eat, minimal choices and I eyeballed them myself since I usually can tell. Thankfully she doesn't have a life threatening allergy, but one with GI complications larger than rashes and breathing problems but includes vomiting.

The bad part was this is where we discovered that groups of 6 or more were charged a 20% gratuity not covered by our meal plan. This basically equalled to between 21 and 24 every sit down meal (1 a day). Whew! That was not budgeted. God is so super amazing though because 2 Aunts contributed to our spending making this smooth over better than without. I however was still in my funk and made remarks about never coming back to Disney. The waiter promptly retrieved the manager and he gave us a free pass to head to the front of the line. The boys used this on the only ride that had a longer than 10 min wait for the day. The picture is shown at the top.
Tasted horrible but looked pretty!

Sleepy girl hung on with a nap on the plane the day before and a rest on Daddy's head while waiting to watch the parade at 3pm. Of course she enjoyed the Princess song and dance with Mickey and Minnie at Cinderella's palace.
Our first family picture. Sadly this was the only one taken from day 1.

Though we didn't stay for the fireworks as we were all tired it was too pretty not to snap a shot on our way out. We left the park at 7pm, that means we were there 10 hours. Not too shabby for our first day.

Having a late lunch we had dinner back out our resort. I just had to take a picture of the two fisted eater! He cracked me up. #1 didn't understand that you get a meal, drink and dessert so he requested an order of bread sticks before I knew it. This meal cost us 5.00 out of pocket. They were pretty good so live and learn, no harm this time.

When we got back to our room finally this is what we found. It proved to be a fun mystery to see what the cleaning people did to make our room look like a surprise every day. Can you believe my oldest son, 11, brought 95 percent of these animals. I love his little kid ways. He isn't grown just yet!

Oh I forgot to mention that this sit down meal earlier in the day was a character one. It was with Winnie the Pooh and friends. This equalled Eeyore, Piglet, Pooh of course and Tiger. It was cute how all the kids were totally into getting the signatures of all we met. #4 HAD to hug them all loving Pink Piglet the most too. All but #1 joined in during the dance special when all kids made a sort of conga line around the entire place.
