Brothers: Different and yet the same

It is no secret I have 2 boys in the mix of my 4. These two boys are very different creatures to say the least. They come together at times, usually when #1 stops fighting the natural copying of little brother and doesn’t boss him around. But really one is outdoors, one indoors. One is all about casual wear, the other preppy style. One has dark blond nearly brown hair, the other a true blond, one brown eyes the other blue. I could go on but you get my point.

For the last couple of years I fully have come to understand the nuances of the “typical” boy kind of behavior. You know the play in the mud, take apart stuff, rough and tumble, drive fast and adrenaline style fun. #2 sways to this side a time or two but well she does it looking her best at it so not quite the same. As a person aware that each person is uniquely created for a specific purpose I try to encourage their own bent while pushing them to be flexible enough to function in life as well.
SO, in my youngest son’s natural bent we “tested” a borrowed big boy toy.

He was so darn cute, even if G did not follow our specific rules of waiting for us to be present. The second time felt like the first since it was ours. Each child took a turn, adorably slow and safe. I hope to acquire one for him near or on his birthday, maybe even this  borrowed one at a reasonable price. If not we will ask for family to chip in like when he was 4 and received the gator/jeep. Look at how times sure do change!
Just so I don't leave anyone out here is my All American girl well dressed for her "boy style" fun.
