Play, eat, done, TOSS

My crazy redhead is at it again. The road less traveled from her siblings continues and me on my toes with adaptations to keep her little 'tude in check NEVER ends!
A couple weeks ago while riding in Aunt Net's car she requested her to put the window down. Child locks on the window allowed for a certain reasonable safe amount to we both agreed. She said please, and thank you as well. Who can so no to that? Well after lunch AND dessert at DQ she was particularly full of orneriness she decided to stick her little purse out the window, smiling etc. I warned her several times and then shook my head as she let go. Since it was a small neighborhood street turning around and retrieving meant little effort. I kept it on my person making mention many times to "drive" home the lesson, right?!
In the mini van she doesn't sit near a window that opens so I wrote this off as silliness from being in someone Else's car etc. Well, this week she has begun throwing things when she is done with them. Kids do this here and there but when I say begun I mean all the time and all things. IE nubs of food she has eaten, utensils etc. Toys, food, metal cars at siblings heads etc. She KNOWS what she is doing and the war of wills commence because this momma don't play that!!
After dinner out she was getting bored and did it with a couple things. I corrected her, we went back and forth with her deciding to give in and me sensing time to leave we headed out. I got in my car to go on my happy way for PT work at Dispatch and she along with siblings got in Daddy's car. Daddy had the window down a bit since he drives a Saturn and you guessed it, she chucked her Elmo book (which she loves) on Hwy 70. I of course get a phone call making sure this was not a library book or some priceless memento etc. Tempted to say yes to torture him for a moment in thinking he had to turn around and retrieve it, but decided 4 kids on his own was enough torture for one evening said nope leave it there. He bantered back I should stop on my way home (midnight) to fetch it, reminding me why a yes turn around earlier would have been the better response. :) That my friends is just the way hubby and I roll....
Darn 2 year olds!!!
