Pretty Pretty Princess

Sugar and Spice and everything nice is my little girls. Ok well maybe not everything nice. But this particular time it sure was filled with nothing but the best.
Disney's Princess on Ice courtesy of donated school supplies and a wonderful SLM momma who did the leg work for me to get them. 12.00 for 3 tickets is waaaay cool!
The drive was consumed by action, music, voices and giggles. Us three girls sang to the Glee sound track and supposed what was ahead. In the traffic before we parked people watching for dress ups and more made #2 nervous that she would be out of place. It didn't take long for the Snow White's, Cinderella's and more to pop up.

Skipping along the car filled garage, scaling stairs and out to the open field again seemed like the perfect beginning. Stopping to meet our friend, we waited near the restrooms. #4 decided to wave at the other families walking by ensuring her most adorable role. Oohs and aah's were heard as people passed. Oh how that little girl can melt my heart!

Quickly we found our seats just as the show began. I was uncertain if both girls would sit for the entire performance but settled in as that was completely unfounded. #4 gasped every time someone new appeared or flipped and spun. She was enthralled with Mickey and Minnie Mouse the most too, asking where Mickey go many times. Course I take the credit for her being unaware of the real stars. I have not exposed her to any of the movies. I guess it might be time for one or two.
#2, like most girls there, wishes to be Cinderella. She was the star of the show taking up the entire time post intermission. Most of all she simply wanted to be an ice skater like those beautiful women. This is not really a new dream of hers. Last year she requested and received a pair of beautiful ice skates, and a blow up rink. I am pretty sure anything she sets her mind to she will succeed at, little sis has proven to follow in such giant footsteps too.

A very sweet lady next to us bought cotton candy and split it with my girls saving me the outrageous price of 10.00 for the equivalent of 2.00 at Walmart. I did splurge for Dippin' dots at 3.75 for them to split. That typically is a vacation treat so it was special.
I love my girls, and am more than grateful that God entrusted 2 of them to me. I pray they know who they are in Christ and not of the world so they can shine just as brightly and my heart does being with them. Sometimes there is nothing like being a mom and watching your babies grow!
