250 is BIG with a PRIZE
250 posts, WOW! Time sure flies right one by and well I am so happy I have gotten in to the swing of charting mine and my kids lives again. I have a great journal which has all been typed and backed up, just needs to be updated to here so it is all in one place. But well, as with all things life happens and I got a bit sporadic about the journal. Here I feel like I am sharing it with someone in the interim before I give to my kids so that helps. I appreciate all of you who have read or are reading with me.
In honor of the 250 I was thinking that it meant I should do something bigger than normal. Although, I am not a professional or mass read blog I can do something for the people who mean so much to me and share my life. That being said, (drum roll please) I will randomly draw a name from those who reply to this post to receive a surprise personally from me. Now, on a more personal note I am finally fed up enough to follow through with what I have been talking about for some time. I am gaining weight/losing muscle and definitely on the brink of changing sizes NOT In a good way. Since there are officially 6 children here for the summer I have many eyes and ears who have NO problem keeping me in line when given the opportunity. So here is a list of changes I am making starting NOW!
Change 1: NO food after 7pm (typically I eat because I am tired, or habit not because I am really hungry)
Change 2: I will eat cereal for breakfast everyday and my granola style bar for lunch so when I am really hungry in late afternoon I will eat dinner with my kids who are ALL old enough to learn to eat a meal without me getting up a 100 times.
Change 3: I will exercise everyday, running 2 or 3 times a week and then supplementing the other days with something else including my kids.
Change 4: I will prepackage my sweets in a baggie for the entire day and manage them that way so I don't cheat, but don't have to go completely without.
Change 5: I will learn to drink water even if it kills me!I don't like, lemon or orange in it but there has to be some way and I am gonna figure it out as I am making my kids do the same in between meals.
Change 6: I will cut up/clean all fruit in the house so when I crave sweets I can grab something better.
I can do this and have done it before. I wish my hubby would be helpful but sadly my bad eating habits have encourages his bad habits, ie eating in bed.
Wish me luck and feel free to ask me! Don't forget to reply to this post!
Here's to an excellent June!!

Congrats on your 250th post!
ReplyDeleteI wish you luck with losing the few pounds you have gained and achieving your goals. A sense of accomplishment is always a good thing.
If I win, remember you said the prize would be received from you personally, so I will expect a visit and really that could be the surprise in and of itself.
:)
