3rd day is a charm

By the 3rd day of Disney adventure I had relaxed and accepted that life involves imperfection. This was a Saturday as well so we were certain that we needed to arrive as early as possible to Epcot. Thursday and Friday were slow in Disney terms so the weekend simply had to be busier. We were correct, but this first 2 hours we AWESOME. Heck, the first hour felt like there was no one but us riding things. The first ride was called the Test Track which reminded me of G and #3. It was just like it sounds with test dummies and cars/tools all along the way. #4 was not tall enough again so we split up into groups. I did force under duress #1 to ride it who nervously made it one time. He would have been fine if they wouldn't have shown you that it gets up to 70 I think outside for just a short time.

This picture was taken just outside the Mission Space ride. Again we went in two shifts which really meant that Daddy and I rotated. It was a pretty cool simulation ride and #1 LOVED it! While we waited she danced and played. In fact we put on our own dance show together, her leading me no doubt!
Daddy was smarter and figured out there was an indoor playground area on the way out of this ride so she hung there happy as a lark.

Finally, as time got closer to our late lunch reservation we headed to purchase #2's chosen souvenir. She wanted to buy the pins and lanyard for Disney's trading pin fun. You see all the Cast members as they call the workers have pins and you can trade with them anytime. This did turn out to be a VERY fun idea. I even ended up buying her a couple extra mystery pins so she could keep going once she liked all she had and didn't want to trade them. Standing at the booth we looked to the sky and saw a airplane writing letters. He eventually wrote the phrase Love God. God + U = :) But when he was still writing #3 thought the Love G was sent from G. Sweet thoughts from my little man!

Lunch was AWESOME! They had the best sea food, every single dish was PERFECT! It was called the Coral Reef near the Nemo ride. We sat right next to the aquarium where an giant turtle rested. As anyone who knows my husband would expect he came up with his own fun while we waited too. I love that childlike man. He makes some super cool memories with these kids!

Here we have pictures of our visit inside the giant golf ball. We played a shuffleboard kind of SIMS game in teams of two (Annabeth and I), (Daddy and #1), (Michael and #4). We rode a interactive train kind of ride, amazing special effects and #2 made her first pin trade.

Before heading to dinner we went on the Soarin ride that made Daddy feel lightheaded but the rest of us LOVED! It was like you were gliding. Nemo was pretty fun with all the aquariums to see and real animals. Also, we went to a show with a little known Michael Jackson movie that was so stupid it was funny. The only thing we missed at Epcot was the boat type family ride. Although it appears we didn't miss too much.
This time we ate our meal at Epcot. They have an area which is around a giant lake and it has different countries. Funny most of us though the China would have had Chinese food that was actually good but it DID NOT! #1 was smart in not wanting it and caused Daddy to walk nearly halfway around the lake to find an Italian place that wasn't sit down. When that didn't work they found the only suitable American place they could and walked back to eat with us. It was getting dark now so we found the recommended firework spot and hung out. There were ducks in the water like Minnie and that entertained for some time. #4 cried as the fireworks started and I wasn't sure we were going to be able to stay. I did manage to talk her through it (she did have noise cancelling headphone type things on too). It was pretty and the kids were happy but I am glad we didn't try the Magic Kingdom fireworks from that experience!
We headed out in a hurry to make it to the shuttle stop then arrived back "home" just 14 hours after our day began. Thankfully we planned on sleeping in and getting a nap for #4 on Sunday. This day our agent had planned for us to go back to the Magic Kingdom but being there made us realize we didn't need another day there. Instead we made reservations to scope out Hollywood Studios and the Jedi training, get some pool time and just kick back. Tired but happy what a surprise it was to find this on the bed when we got to our rooms. Aunt D rocks for sure!! There were really great snacks in the bag and these animals were well loved. The oldest two kids still sleep with theirs and #4 well she is in love with hers! This did prove to be the beginning of the end for healthy baby girl so it worked out very well. Stay tuned for day 4, if you dare.
