Number 4 eggs, and prolasped what??

Little miss #4 diva or  the Queen as I have calling her is allergic to eggs and soy. Her new found fridge abilities have turned terrible. Hindsight is def 20/20 as I moved the glass applesauce jar, and other foods out of her reach to prevent messes. The one thing I didn't think about was the eggs. I guess because they were in a package covered etc I left them be. I am trying to stick to my schedule of clean time 1 hour, playtime 1 hour, internet/computer home school preschool time 1 hour, then lunch and do it all over again. I am about 10 minutes over my computer time but I am not sure I will get back for awhile.....

I sit down with #3 doing Starfall letter review on one computer and me on another and realize it is awful quiet. I head to the kitchen and there she is sitting on the floor, egg carton open on her lap and 6 broken eggs including one in her hand and one all over the floor. I get her up,clean up and pray she has not eaten any egg but alas there is egg shell on her face. Deep sigh, near tears.....

THE NEXT DAY........

As a former Firefighter, still an EMT and a Fire and EMS dispatcher I have heard MANY medical terms over the years. Some I know, some I ask and some I say what the..... when I hear but when it comes to your own children you imagine NONE of the what the moments will be regarding your own child. As a mom of 4 I pride myself on expecting the unexpected and rolling with the punches pretty well. BUT....

I am atWalmart grocery shopping last night while Annabeth is at dance and before I drop Joey off to Tae Kwon Do. I do the running because I am home ALL the time with the other two and it is nice to get out without Baby 4. My phone rings just as the cashier greets me. I try to never talk while being checked out, rude right. But alas it is my husband so I answer. Here is the conversation:

Elizabeth (never good when he call me by my name) something is wrong with #4.

What?

Her innards (not sure if I spelled right) are coming out!

What?

Her innards are coming out!!

What do you mean her innards?

Her butt hole, she pooped out her butthole!!!!!

(Resist urge to panic just because he is panicing), what does it look like, is she crying?

She is fine, no wait, wait, it went back in....it was like an inch out.

Ok calm down it might be a hernia or something I will call the pedi and see if I need to get anything. As long as she acts fine, no worries.

OK, call me back (in the background to #3) no let her get up...you want to take a shower with Bubba #4?....

Ok I will call you........click.

The cashier looked at me like I was nuts and said everything ok.....

Apparently it was a prolasped rectum, not a huge deal so he was correct. My Pedi got a kick out of my husbands term her innards Said do nothing unless she acts in pain, or it doesn't go back in. Oh how gross!!! I have heard the term but glad I missed seeing it. Darn eggs she got Monday, all that pooping! Ah another fun parenting moment. This one will make the journal, conversation and all:)
