Princess and other family fun
My eldest daughter is something for sure! Today while cleaning her room which really means 30 minutes of cleaning and hours upon hours of playing she dressed up. *Side note* I am amazed that at 8 she still enjoys dressing up and pretend play.
"Well I am just pretending mommy."
"Of course."
"I am a princess and this apt (whispers) really my room, is getting too small."
"Do you need any help?"
"Nah, I have people to do that for me."
Notice the items she packed up for her move too. She cracks me up!!
Lastly, I noticed that they all dwindled away one by one heading upstairs except #2 and me. We made it to the end, a full hour. I love love love how this child has a heart like mine. She is my daughter and she enjoys so much that I do. Right this minute she is distracted from her move because I a watching country music videos. Discussing the words, the scenes and all that the song entails we both are happy. Sigh, I am gonna have so much fun with her. That is between the teenage moments coming next ;)
Naptime bliss means I kick back and don't feel the least bit bad about vegging on the computer while they all do as they choose too. Interrupting my moment she says, "I am moving!"
"Alright. Where ya movin to?" "Well I am just pretending mommy."
"Of course."

Also today we headed to the Fire Station to use the exercise equipment. #1 will benefit from doing the same treadmill workout as he does at therapy and bonus I can use the stairstepper/glider whatever its called things which is easier on my foot than running. It turned into a family affair with Daddy instructing little ones on the weight lifting etiquitte, stretching himself and more.
Who knew that #4 could leg press 40 pounds either? I didn't try any higher but man I wouldn't have bet someone that little could do it.
