Are there phones in the North Pole?

The day after Thanksgiving as tradition the kids and hubby put up the tree. I turned on Christmas music, and plopped myself down on the couch to enjoy the scenery. Yep you heard me or rather read that right. I do not participate in the tree trimming festivities but as a spectator. I Deck the halls or really the house and everyone else gets the tree. I do not care about the organization, or the horrendous effort putting lights on the tree provides. The kids are more than THRILLED to negotiate which ornaments they each get to hang, this year #4 added a few of her own. That is except the pink My Little Pony horse which she felt was better suited in her hands.
We all wore the Santa hats which feel brand new even though they are well used. As the plastic tubs were closed back up I was swept up in the fun and took several pictures with the kids under the tree. Torturing hubby by setting the timer for him and I in the picture too was WELL worth the aggravation. I am pretty sure it was payback for something, HA!

Since that day we have visited Santa at the Fire Station. #1 wants _________, #2 ____________, #3 wants 100 little legos to build with, and #4 wasn't really interested in talking to Santa at all. But after seeing Santa at the candy cane hunt (see next upcoming post) she was more secure of the big man in the red suit. In fact so much so she asks when we will see him again. She wants to read about him and the greatest of all call Santa. All day today she has asked me to call him so she can talk. She does love her phone calls to Aunts, Gma and G, Daddy etc. If I called him would she talk to him? What would she have to say?
Looks like I am on the search for a sweet, kind otherwise unrecognizable male voice to chat for goodness knows how long she will on the phone. Be aware I have to cut her off from most calls too. :)
Can you see my wanted ad now?
